Exhibition at the 3rd SUSTAINABLE FASHION EXPO -Autumn-

Toyota Tsusho Corporation (“Toyota Tsusho”) announced today that it hosted a booth as the Toyota Tsusho Group at FaW TOKYO (FASHION WORLD TOKYO) 3rd SUSTAINABLE FASHION EXPO -Autumn- held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 10 to October 12, 2023.

This was the second exhibition since the launch of the PATCHWORKS® project to promote a circular economy in the textile and fashion field. We exhibited new circular solutions such as the “textile recycling business for waste fishing nets,” “Don’t Burn Insurance,” and “textile to textile recycling,” and “proper disposal of discarded clothing.”
We were very pleased to have many business partners and customers from the apparel industry and other industries visit our booth.

In addition, four companies, Patagonia JAPAN, BUREO, ELLANGE, and Toyota Tsusho held a talk session on “the reality of the waste fishing net problem in Japan and what the apparel industry can do as a solution for resource circulation.” The event was attended by many people and was very lively.
